Series 192: Double-Acting Rod Seal
The 192 Series rod seal is a low-friction design, consisting of a filled PTFE sealing element and an O-ring energizer. The seal will function regardless of direction of pressure. The design is optimized to ensure maximum sealing performance at both low and high pressures. This device is available in many PTFE-filled compounds including materials suitable for high speeds and pressures. Manufactured in a variety of materials and sizes from 6 mm up to 2100 mm in standard or custom diameters.

System Seals’ unique filled PTFE compounds provide ultra-low friction and high-speed performance with minimal wear. The standard compounds are PTFE with Bronze filler, or PTFE filled with Glass-Moly. The temperature range of the seal can be increased by selecting a FPM O-Ring in place of the standard NBR O-Ring.
