Tim Kalchoff joined System Seals as an applications engineer in December 2018. In this capacity, Tim collaborates with MRO and OEM customers and his fellow engineers to assess and evaluate customer concerns and identify optimal sealing solutions to meet their unique needs. He also provides critical technical and non-technical support and services to clients and System Seals staff regarding the design and composition of sealing solutions.
Prior to assuming his current role, Tim served as a process and product engineer at CCL Design in Strongsville, Ohio. There he developed Flow, FMEA and Control Plan documents to facilitate manufacturing processes and organized prototyping and test orders to support the launch of new products. Earlier in his career, Tim worked for Pyrotek in Aurora, Ohio as a melt treatment development engineer, designing and developing degassing equipment for the aluminum foundry industry.
Tim holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree from Fenn College of Engineering at Cleveland State University. He is currently earning his Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from Kent State University.
