SYSTEM SEALS, introduces the Plunger Pump Sealing System.  Our exclusive system  eliminates extrusion, the primary cause of failure, for high pressure water pumps.

The KC30 system consists of rubber fabric seal rings which are supported by active anti-extrusion rings and specially designed back-up rings.This high performance plunger pump sealing system  will withstand extremely high pressure, high temperatures and high speeds.  Under pressure, the high tensile  strength anti-extrusion ring will expand  thereby coming into contact with the rod and creating a zero-gap condition. This ring maintains the integrity of the system by keeping the rubber/fabric seal intact, ultimately avoiding extrusion and failure of the system.  The system is also supported by a secondary back-up ring. The KC30 system has been widely used in heavy duty presses and forging equipment extending intervals between maintenance significantly. 

Some of the benefits of the Plunger Pump Sealing System are one step installation in which the gland never needs adjustment.  The design of the system is one of low friction with zero compression necessary.  The system is maintenance free and  is readily available in custom sizes with a short lead time.
